Uruguayan-born guitarist Osvaldo Gold will share a rich and varied repertoire of classical guitar arrangements by Latin American composers. Drawing on the distinctive rhythms, melodies and colors of the region, the performance explores both familiar and lesser known works in an intimate solo guitar setting.  Osvaldo recently completed a two-year residency at the University of Wisconsin studying with renowned Cuban guitarist René Izquierdo.
